Hasta el 14 de diciembre permanecerá, en la galería T20 de Murcia, la exposición "Sleepy Island" del pintor Nelo Vinuesa. En ella veremos la confirmación de aquellas primeras intenciones en la galería Edgar Neville y su posterior impacto, hace poco más de un año, en "El cielo recortado", pintado para la galería Valle Ortí de Valencia.
Este joven pintor, que gusta de pasar largos ratos retozando entre la casquería de las imágenes, no ha renunciado a la memoria visual que lo ha traído hasta aquí. Videojuegos, cómic, cultura de masas... todo vale cuando se confía en la intuición a la hora de asociar iconos, cuando importa poco definir o indefinir, cuando se tiene el verbo fácil y mucho vinilo a mano. Lo sorprendente, lo emocionante, es disfrutar de la precoz madurez de estos trabajos una vez acabados.
Por silvestre, y por honesto, bien mereces que nos acerquemos por Murcia. Buena suerte, amigo.
The exhibition of the painter Nelo Vinuesa titled "Sleepy Island" will run at T20 gallery (Murcia, Spain) until Sunday, December 14th. In this exhibition we will be able to see the reaffirmation of those first pictorial intentions shown at the Edgar Neville gallery; and, its later impact, from about a year ago, with "El cielo recortado", which was painted for the Valle Ortí gallery (Valencia, Spain).
This young painter loves to spend time frolicking through fragments of images aren't resigned to the visual memory that brings him to this point. Videogames, comics, mass media... all of this is useful when you trust in the intuition of association of icons. All this is useful when defining or undefining is not important; when you have something to say and a lot of vinyl avaiable. The surprising and exciting thing in this is the precocious maturity of the work.
Because you are wild but honest, you deserve for all of us to take this trip to Murcia. Good luck, friend.
